Creativity is at the heart of spirituality. Most artists sense that their inspiration comes from within and beyond themselves. And they are right for spirituality to be both within and beyond.
In connecting to the transcendent, the divine, the artist provides a vehicle for the divine to enter this world to lead and inspire. Art becomes a means for the Spirit to touch and guide us.
Art does not need to be just “traditional forms of art – painting, music, and so forth, but it takes form wherever a deeper sense of creativity for the sake of itself is the driving force. It could be in mathematics, engineering, sports, etc., wherever the spark of creativity arises.
For us to move forward, we must be inspired, creative, and artistic!
