Roger Morimoto

Director | Spiritual Researcher, Scientist & Coach

Roger’s awareness of spirituality began at an early age. Though he didn’t understand exactly what he was searching for, he sensed a deeper meaning to life that sparked his curiosity. He observed nature and read about religion and started asking questions.

It was during his collegiate years that his studies in quantum physics began to converge with mysticism and his family’s experiences with holistic health. And so, with a newly acquired degree in Chemical Engineering from UC Berkeley, he took a leap of faith and entered the Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley to continue his research in spirituality. This path led him to a 36-year career as a United Methodist pastor serving in the Japanese American Christian community.

He continued his exploration of spiritual modalities and his research led him into not only the studies of traditional Christian and Buddhist perspectives but also metaphysics, psychic phenomenon, mysticism, shamanism, psychological perspectives, tarot and symbolism, ancient mystery school teachings, and astrology. Roger developed a special interest in the Enneagram and in the crossroads where science meets spirituality, leading to a perspective of evolution that suggests humanity is continuing the progression of consciousness as proposed by the priest Pierre Teilhard de Chardin.

Roger believes we are at a significant point in history where science, technology, and spirituality are engaging in a way to open humanity to a deeper and clearer understanding of our place in the cosmos.  Our life purpose and spiritual growth are a part of this collective effort to the next level of consciousness.
